FULL TUMMY

The Full Tummy Project provides small bags of food on Fridays for children in our local schools who have been identified by school administrators as at risk for hunger. These children depend on school provided meals and have little to no food on the weekends or during school breaks. The food in these weekend meal bags help these children return to school on Monday ready to learn.

MISSION ATHENS

Mission Athens is a team of Christians working together to share the love of Jesus and serve the world. Our purpose is to serve those in our community who are most in need. Our work includes helping eligible individuals secure permanent housing, disaster relief assistance, covering utility bills for struggling families or single mothers and providing other basic necessities to those located in Athens who are in need.

THE HAVEN

The Haven Mentoring program is located at 810 North Malone Street and meets on Tuesdays and

Thursdays from 4:00-5:00PM. This is a free service for families living in the Malone Street area. The children are given a snack and help with their homework or reading and math fluency and comprehension. Our goal is to help children grow in confidence at school and in their community.
