Ghana Mission Trip 2019
After many months of prayer and planning, our mission trip began on Tuesday evening, May 14th, when Central’s group of eleven said our “Good byes!” to our families and rolled out from Building 316. Mark and Nita Stephens were kind enough to take us and all of our luggage to the Huntsville airport in the church bus. Our flight itinerary takes us to Atlanta, Amsterdam, and Ghana’s capital city of Accra. We will continue our travels on Thursday morning until we arrive at our final destination, Sunrise Village, near the Upper East regional capital city of Bolgatanga (“Bolga” for short). We will be working in this area until returning home on Saturday afternoon, May 25th. We invite you to stay tuned for more updates.”

This Young Lady
This young lady was helping. You may notice a scar on the left side.of the faces in the pictures. This is cut on purpose, a certain way and is a visual designation of a certain tribe. Other tribes will have cuts similar, but in a different location or cut a different way on the face. In this manner, when meeting someone they know immediately what tribe they are from. It is done when they are babies or very young
Zacky
