Our Logo

Our identity is captured in the Central Church of Christ logo with a biblical heritage of several thousand years. The Cross is central and prominent (Mark 8:34). It is the foundation of the Christian faith and it has been a symbol of the Christian walk from the beginning. The contemporary design reflects forward toward eternal salvation and heavenly rewards (Matthew 10:38).
The brown color represents a gentle but strong submission that turns the other cheek in the face of persecution, resisting evil.

The vine surrounds the cross with green leaves showing that it is alive and growing (John 15: 1, 4, & 5, and Luke 21:30).Also encircling the cross are the words “Love God”, “Love Each Other”, and “Serve the World”. This captures what is found in Luke 10:27, Matthew 22:37, 38, and Deuteronomy 6:5. The challenge to serve the world stems from I Corinthians 16:15 and Ephesians 4: 12, where it is written that “they devoted themselves to the service of the Lord’s people, to equip them for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up.”At the foot of the cross is Central, the bride of Christ, a living body dedicated to service for Him.
